Get Some Bass - About Car Audio

by Benjamin Thompson

The cheap car audio subwoofer speaker is responsible for creating crisp and balanced bass in your music. The quality of your music is directly proportional to the quality of your subwoofer. In most cases, car stereo systems do not come with subwoofers installed. If you're a music enthusiast and want the best experience while driving, then this is an essential addition to your car.

So how do you buy the right subwoofer? The first thing you have to consider is the size of the subwoofer. You can choose between large subwoofer and smaller ones. The bigger the subwoofer, the louder bass you can generate. While this is a great feature of large subwoofers, the problem is that you need the space to install them.

Many enthusiasts install the large subwoofers in the trunk but if you need that space to hold other belongings, you may want to reconsider. If what you're looking for is a deep bass and something that doesn't have a big ban, then you should just go with a normal subwoofer. For most people a smaller subwoofer will be sufficient for their needs.

In the event you frequently play your music at lower volume levels, a 10" subwoofer brings the bass enough to enhance the sound of music. Even one, smaller sub will do a good job if you're not looking for something ridiculous. You still get yourself a deep and wealthy bass however you won't get yourself a thundering base like the bigger sound system. Then there is a power need for the speaker. most subwoofers will need at least 150 to 200 watts of power.

The power requirement of the car subwoofer speaker has to match the amplifier. Obviously bigger subwoofer speakers will need more power or the amplifier simply won't be able to handle it. In some cases, the sound quality will be muffled or will start to distort if the amplifier cannot handle the power of the subwoofer speaker.

Another thing to look at is to consider the different designs. Some speakers radiates sound from the side, front, or downwards. This creates a different listening experience. For example, the subwoofer that radiates the sound downwards will keep more of the bass inside your car and create a vibration in your car.
